Burnham Overy Staithe to Kings Lynn

Sometimes, if the roads are mad we cut inland to find quiet lanes. We prefer to enjoy the riding if possible. The lane over the tops (we are talking an altitude of 64m!) gave us long reaching views over the Wash. Into Hunstanton we bagged the last lighthouse of our trip and settled into a shelter by the sea with a coffee and croissant. It really is about the stopping.

Along the front, past all sorts of random diy shacks then inland and through the garden of a somewhat different residence. We just had to stop at Sandringham for a royal wee.

The cycleway back from Sandringham into Kings Lynn is amazing. Car free tree lined avenues. A fine end.
